“PARIAH is all just a childhood dream for me. My friends and I were going to start a skate shop together. Now we’re just putting the pieces together one step at a time.” - Jessip Salizzoni
We want you to be a piece of this puzzle too! We are just a small company right now but as PARIAH grows we’re going to see more and more merchandise that will put us closer to that skate shop dream! Stay connected and order a shirt to Rep a community for the outcasts and look good whether you’re shredding the sidewalks, or down a mountain slope! PARIAH is for the people. Professional, Non-Professional, artists, and athletes. We’ve all got something to share and we want to be the company that provides that platform. Growing up the one thing that was a constant were board sports for us and we found that it was a way for us to connect, compete, laugh and celebrate the adventure!
What do We do?
J.S.
PARIAH was originally just a skate shop that had no real purpose other than to make money. i have no idea where or how far that would’ve gotten but I’m assuming probably not very far. Today the concept has reached complex new goals and meaning not only to myself and my friends, but for the community, and the sports industry.
Growing up I loved to just be outside on my board and obviously had the ideas of “going pro”. at such a young age it was hard to focus on those ideas and dreams because I didn’t pursue the proper environments to endorse those goals. I grew up scared and unwilling to follow my dream and one of my clearest passions, but as I grew up I realized all those goals would bring me was money, a name for myself, and maybe a couple cool video clips and I would be on top of the world. Contrary to most people’s goals, mine didn’t fall in the money, fame, or fortune but rather into living and leading a happy life. Simple, hard working, happiness. I decided that our skate shop was going to be for the people and I want to find ways to fulfil that basic ideology to its fullest degree through PARIAH.
I want to help people and youth like myself get into an industry that is highly competitive and worthwhile but in a positive way. Now that the big name skateboarding companies are beginning to grow outside of the party lifestyle and focusing more on the longevity of not only athletes but artists. I simply want to do my part and then some.
The goal of any company is to be profitable. to be able to live off your passion and work is any mans dream but may be held back in its potential due to greed. We want to be different and give back to our people, our community and our world.
Save the orangutans by sourcing recyclable materials to make skateboards, snowboards, Etc? Yes, no contest.
Help our veterans by donating or working with other organizations to do so? Why wouldn’t we!
Promote our youth in our communities to put themselves out there and wear their hearts on their sleeves? That’s all I’ve ever wanted.
We have the ability to create opportunities for people who think they’re nobodys and allow them to be somebody inside and out of our company. We have the opportunity to embrace each other and utilize what we have to offer to create not just a business but a community and a place to grow, rebuild, celebrate, and create a better environment for everyone while keeping true to the nature of skating, and board sports in general.
Work for it. Sweat for it. Bleed for it. Go for it.
